Excluding legal state holidays and closings due to inclement weather.

 

The Cumberland County Courthouse is located in downtown Fayetteville approximately 4 blocks west of Highway 301 and Business I-95 in the city block surrounded by Person Street, E. Russell Street, Dick Street, and Cool Springs Street. Public parking lots located in the front and rear of the building. [Map and directions to the Courthouse] 

 

The Cumberland County Detention contains the Magistrate’s Office and the jail and is located in downtown Fayetteville approximately 5 blocks west of Highway 301 and Business I-95 on the corner of E. Russell Street and Gillespie Street.  (Approximately 1 block from the courthouse.) Center [Map it: 204 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, NC]

The following facilities are found in the detention center:  Magistrate’s Office and jail.  Detention Court and Marriage by Magistrate Ceremonies are also located in this building.  The building is open 24/7.

 

The Cumberland County Law Enforcement Center, contains the Sheriff’s Office is located in the building adjacent to the courthouse.  Hours: 8am-5pm [Map it: 131 Dick Street, Fayetteville, NC]
