                                          Jury Service In Cumberland County

"Serving jury duty is absolutely a sacrifice; however, it is a sacrifice that determines the quality of justice for our citizens. By appearing for jury duty, you are helping your fellow citizens resolve court cases that seriously impact lives in this community.  The right to a trial by jury is one of our most important rights and is guaranteed by the United States and North Carolina Constitutions.  By serving as a juror you are helping to preserve this freedom.”

The Clerk’s Office recognizes your donation of valuable time to serve jury duty and staff will be in the jury room to assist you thorough this process.

We have conducted periodical juror surveys and worked closely with county and other court officials to enhance your jury experience.
