Chief Justice swears-in new Wildlife Commissioners
Raleigh - The chief justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court, himself a life-long hunter and fisherman, was invited recently to swear-in and welcome new members to the state wildlife commission. Justice I. Beverly Lake, Jr. gave the oath of office to three new district commissioners for six-year terms and two at-large members for four-years. They included W. Ray White of Manteo, Doug Parsons of Clinton and Dalton Ruffin of Winston-Salem. New at-large members were Berkley Skinner of Rocky Mount and Steve Windham of Winnabow. John Pechmann of Fayetteville was re-elected commission chairman and Wes Seegars of Goldsboro was re-elected vice chairman by the commission members.
