Welcome to the 26th Judicial District SelfServe Center website. The SelfServe Center was created to assist individuals who wish to represent themselves in family law matters, or seek information about family law issues.

The SelfServe Center website no longer has the forms to file for Absolute Divorce (Uncontested) and Name Change for an Adult or a Minor.  You are still able obtain these forms from the SelfServe Center during our normal business hours.

We also offer lawyer referral information; legal clinics to educate individuals about our forms and instructions; a list of community resources; a legal glossary to help litigants understand the terminology associated with the courts and the forms offered here; information about the 26th Judicial District Family Courts; and the hours, location, and important telephone numbers of court staff and court related agencies. 

The SelfServe Center is located at 832 E. Fourth Street, Suite 3350, Charlotte, North Carolina  28202. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  To reach the center's information line, please dial (704) 686-0210. Closed on state holidays.
