Instructions for saving the SelfServe Center's files to disk

Note: It may be helpful to print these instructions.  If this screen disappears from view, simply click on the INSTRUCTIONS button on the toolbar at the bottom of your screen and it will reappear.

If you are using a floppy diskette, insert it into the disk drive at this time.  Some of our files require a lot of memory, so you may need more than one diskette.

Netscape Communicator Instructions

1.  Position your mouse cursor over the link of the form that you want to save to disk and
click once on the right mouse button.  A menu will appear on your screen.

Select the "Save Link As.." option by clicking on it once with the left button of your mouse.  (see Figure 1)

2.  The "Save As.." box will appear on your screen.  Select "3 1/2 Floppy (A:)" by clicking on it once with the left button of your mouse, then click once on the "Open" button. (see Figure 2)

Note: If "3 1/2 Floppy (A:)" is not listed in your "Save As.." box, click on the folder icon button  until it appears.  If it doesn't appear then click on the desktop icon button  and double-click (quickly) on "My Computer".

3.  Save the file to your floppy disk by selecting the "Save" button with your left mouse button.

Note: To save the file to your hard drive, select a different drive letter. (see Figure 2)

Internet Explorer Instructions

1.  Position your mouse over the link of the form that you want to save to disk and click once on the right mouse button.  A menu will appear on your screen.

Select the "Save Target As.." option by clicking on it once with the left button of your mouse. (see Figure 3)

2.  The "Save As.." box will appear on your screen.  Select "3 1/2 Floppy (A:)" by clicking on it once with the left button of your mouse, then click once on the "Open" button. (see Figure 2)

Note: If "3 1/2 Floppy (A:)" is not listed in your "Save As.." box, click on the folder icon button  until it appears.  If it doesn't appear then click on the desktop icon button  and double-click (quickly) on "My Computer".

3.  Save the file to your floppy disk by selecting the "Open" button one more time with your left mouse button.

Note: To save the file to your hard drive, select a different drive letter. (see Figure 2)
